Verified Buyer Reviewed by DAY from Coloradp on Friday, September 12, 2014Great Derailed savings on a quality Black Diamond daypack. Light weight, excellent suspension system, amazed at how much I can stuff into this pack. Thanks Derailed ... replaced my 45 year old Kelty daypack. Now my go-to ... stylin' with comfort, quality, greater capacity. Love it!
Reviewed by Michelle from West Virginia on Tuesday, April 1, 2014This pack has plenty of room for all the gear and lunch you need for an extended day trip. Very comfortable and distributes the weight perfectly.
Reviewed by Nate from Idaho on Wednesday, January 22, 2014This is a sweet pack. The fit is great, it doesn't chafe, it holds a hydration bladder, and it has more than enough space for a day hike. I even strapped a pair of snowshoes onto it. Very pleased.
Reviewed by MH from Texas on Thursday, September 12, 2013I ordered both the medium and the small hoping one would work for an upcoming trip, based on the notion that they were designed for women. I am a petite woman a bit on the plump side ; the small pack pressed on my b-cup breasts when the sternum strap was fastened, and the medium had a pocket on the right hip band which rubbed harshly against the inside of my arm. Disappointed, I sent both of these handsome, well made packs back.
Reviewed by UTGuy1 from Utah on Wednesday, July 3, 2013Seems like a great pack otherwise but came missing the sternum strap (as seen in photo). STP wouldn't clarify if a "second" but only offered to refund. Fortunately folks at Black Diamond overnighted one. Otherwise, this is a 4 star purchase.
Question & Answer
“How do the loops secure poles? You can't just slide the poles through the loops - they would slip out.”
You can use an elastic cord to hold them in place.
