“I've been up Rainier twice and I've done some climing on volcanos in Ecuador. Based on that experience, I've had my eye out for an ice axe with specific design features at an affordable price. This axe fit the bill perfectly. While climbing glacieated peaks, your ice axe is going to get used mostly as a walking stick and for self belay. This is a superior design for both.”
