5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent for skiing
Reviewed by Tower Nine Design from Steamboat Springs, CO on Saturday, December 21, 2013
These gloves are excellent so far. I use them for back country skiing and snowmobile skiing in northwestern Colorado. They are surprisingly warm for gloves and keep my hands dry too, even while being sprayed with powder on the snowmobile and dealing with ice, melting snow, attaching gear, etc. They seemed pretty stiff and not very dextrous at first, but they have since softened up.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Gloves
Reviewed by Warm hands from Colorado on Tuesday, March 4, 2014
These are the best gloves I've ever owned and I've been through many. The shell with the liner is great on below zero ski days. The shell with a light pair of fleece gloves are good on average ski days. The shell with a skinny Smartwool glove is great on warm days. The shell breathes better than an other glove I've had and stays dry. They need leashes which I salvaged from a retired pair of gloves.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. WARM BUT SMALL
Reviewed by MIKE from MICHIGAN on Wednesday, January 22, 2014
These gloves kept my hands warm while snowshoeing in zero degree weather (even after sticking my hands deep in snow while sliding down a slope). I have small hands and they feel tight.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. So far, so good

I bought these gloves to wear while I clear snow from my driveway here in New England (so I don't have to use my ski gloves). These BD gloves have performed very well so far, keeping my fingers warm and dry. I believe these gloves would perform well on the slopes, though I have not worn them skiing yet. I like the removable liner, as this makes them more versatile (can wear just the shell if you need waterproof gloves in warmer temps).
