Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“I got these gloves for backcountry skiing because they are water/wind resistant, but don't have Gore-Tex so are more breathable. I have used them a couple times now and they are pretty nice. The one thing I was a little diappointed about is that the fleece liner glove is not really designed to be worn on its own, as it is rather bulky and has exterior seams (which is better for comfort though). When I think I will want to remove the shell for a good portion of my hike/ski (i.e., warm weather, steep ascents, etc.), I wear a different liner glove inside it that is more fitted. Also, the sizing seems a little off (I think I measured my hand around 7 1/2" but ended up going with the small, which seems a tad short in the fingers but the medium would have been way too big and bulky). But overall they are a very well-made, versatile pair of gloves and I'm happy that I got them.”
