LOVE the green octopus design, so cute- a rarity in this type of outdoor gear (so sick of camouflage or black designs!) I like they give you new batteries, nice. You do have to use a tiny tool to unscrew it to replace the batteries- a bit cumbersome. However, seeing as how my last lamp died because it had a standard battery door which broke off- this might be a good thing. Hopefully has good battery life so you don't have to change in the field- without tool it would be very hard (though tool takes up close to no space <1g.
