    We order a size larger based on other reviews. They fit well in the waist and have room to grow in the leg. My son is very picky about comfort and seems and waistbands are a problem for him. These pants were put on and stayed on for about 20 hrs. He loves them.

    These pants were soft and beautiful but somehow they were stiff at the same time. My grand daughters looked great in them but if they bent their knees, their circulation was cut off. So they were really unwearable.

    Bought these for my active 10 year old son. He usually lives in his longjohns 6 mos of the year. I bought the M (10-12), they fit, but are too snug on my lean guy. Because of snug size, he will only get 1 yr of wear out of them. I should have returned them for L (14-16) but it was too late - he was already wearing them.

    Got these for my 6-year old who is just as much an outside person as I am. She loves them - and stays warm in all our activities. Technical gear for children can be hard to find - and not all of it is appropriate. These are a very reasonably-priced base layer that will get enough use by the time they are outgrown. No complaints at all.
