    I have the Mountain Hardwear version and wanted another pair. The fabric is the same- so warm and comfy but the Black Diamond did not feel as durable and the leg cuffs felt unfinished to me.

    The sizing chart was correct regarding the waist but the cut and length were too small for me. I have a long & thin distance runner build and am used to length issues. Having the tights too narrow for even my calves is very unusual. The material is thicker & more insulating than I wanted for running/rollerskiing at 40F-55F.

    I use the product for running on those mornings when the temperature dips into the 20's. They are very warm tights. If the temperature is 30 or above you will roast in these. They are probably better suited to a colder environment than here in NC, but they do the job nicely for what I need from them. Later in the year I am planning to use them under waders while duck hunting.

    I am a womens size large for pants, so since it said order one size smaller, I ordered a medium and a small. The small, I do not see how any man is going to fit into those. The Medium is very snug on me, but I guess that's what I wanted. I suggest if you don't want them to be a second layer of skin to order your real size. They are really WARM! worth the price.

    use these running, cyclng, surfski paddling in winter and have been great. The multidirectional stretch means they dont bunch up at all which makes them much more comfortable than others I have worn.
