i am 5'6" and 150lbs. after reading the other reviews i ordered the medium. they take getting used to. they are tight/ compressive but not uncomfortable once used to them. i am more used to lighter weight tights that are more stretchy so these seemed to compress my legs. they are so WARM!!!! i ordered another pair after wearing these on our farm a few times with just insulated pants over them. the second pair i got was a large and the fit is looser/ more what i am used to. i really like both pairs though and am keeping them. only drawback is that the material pills at rub points.

I was gifted these tights and absolutely love them. They fit as they are supposed to, and they are very comfortable. One of the best aspects is the inside is fleecy while the outside has a smoother finish. Having a dog who loves to shed, I now don't walk around looking like I have her coat on me. They work well with my hiking and trail running and will be great under wind pants when I snowshoe.

Great for cold weather running. For temps 40 degrees and below these tights keep my legs warm + moving! I bought a small last year, loved them, just wished the leg length fit better! I just bought 2 more pairs in a med hoping to get the right leg length but still came up short. Still, I love these tights so much I don't mind wearing long socks to keep my ankles warm.

I get a local seamstress to put in a zipper fly

I marked fit feels small because these are unisex medium and they fit me but I don't think that they would fit a medium sized man. I would have ordered a small if that size had been available and they would have been too small. The quality does not seem as good as the old pair of the same that they are replacing.

Very warm base layer for me. And very great price in STP. It was so helpful for me to pass the winter.

Sent these tights back. They were so small that I needed to order 2 sizes larger. I sized up but that wasn't enough.

Bought this for my husband for cold weather running. Since it is unisex, it was hard to know the size but ordered him a medium. They were too tight, but I ended up keeping them for me. I had to order new ones for him in a large and they fit better. He usually wears a medium, so maybe order up a size. As far as performance, they are great! They keep us warm and it makes going out on frosty mornings so much more pleasant. (We don't like the cold!) I did have one that came unsewn on the back seam but was able to return and replace them with no problems. Yay Sierra Trading Post!! We liked the tights so much, we ordered another pair each.

I bought these pants for winter walking, and they are sufficiently warm, but they are really short. I am only 5'2", and they my ankles show, so would notuse them for outdoors, but can use them for lounging around.
