Decent hook and materials used for this pattern. Common with this fly made by this manufacturer I purchased in past did not hold up well and unraveled after one or two fish. Suggest adding some head cement to your flies and possibly epoxy because you shouldn't expect to have the epoxy on the wing case as in the standard Barr Fly because that is missing with this Flashback Copper John.
This fly does not have a tungsten bead. Overall, I don't think you benefit much from a tungsten in a copper john as the copper wire body with the normal bead sinks pretty fast as is. The only other comment I can add is to put a little extra head cement / sally hansen's nail polish around the collar to reinforce the fly.
