Bottom Line:

“good pattern for trout in lakes and ponds. this leech imitates not only leeches but damsel nymphs. I have found it effective in mountain lakes in or near weed beds. Fish it with a longer leader and give it plenty of time to get down before slowly striping it in. The sink rate is about one foot per two or three seconds. This fly requires patience. Have also used it to catch perch and bass. A good addition to my flybox”
