No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Bought a dozen of these flies because I was hoping they'd be an effective "flash fly" for silver and chum salmon in Alaska. The hook is way too big and I don't think I'll be using these as they seem more like snagging flies than more traditional "flash fies".”
