Black's Flies Tung Midge Nymph Fly - 12

I have not had the opportunity to try these flies yet but they seem to be well made should hold up under numerous strikes.

If you enjoy fishing chironomids (midge pupa) but don't tie or don't like tying small flies, this pattern is for you. I have several similar patterns but none is as high-quality as this one. The hook is thicker and stronger than the wire hooks used on other nearly identical flies. The bodies are tightly wrapped, as is the silver rib. It's weight will get it deep, without split shot. It is a very realistic looking pupa pattern, one that is highly effective in Washington's lowland lakes. The low price is phenomenal...you'd be very hard pressed to find this quality at the same or lower price. Five Stars!!!

A more accurate description of this fly would be a zebra midge. I thought the picture showed a dark head but I was wrong. It is a gold bead. This pattern works better with silver or dark head. Nice construction otherwise.
