The Bleuet is much lighter in weight than my white gas stove, so I'm already pleased. Tried out one of the fuel cubes and it boiled two cups of water in under 15 minutes. Love it.

This stove does what it is made for and very well, we used it for a three day trip taking 3 fuel cubes per meal based on cooking time. The stove completed the task each time and with a little change in plans we were able to use less and do more by the third day. Planning is important and wind needs to be blocked for best results. Very little space and weight was needed in the pack for the stove.

strong odor , if other fuel sources are wet this is a good option
    light weight good for hiking
not sure if animals are repelled or attracted to the smell
if you don't have a whisperlite this is a good cheap option

I opened the Sierra box and immediately the smell hit me. It didn't take long to find the source. I opened the stove and fuel box and double ziplock (freezer) bagged the fuel. It still permeated. The smell has staying power. I can't imagine using these on the trail. They could certainly attract wildlife. I was still able to smell where they had been in my house two days after removing them from the area. The stove is cute, the fuel is a problem.
