National Public Lands Day

September 28th is National Public Lands Day. That's right, this Saturday is your chance to access national parks and other public lands without a fee. Get out there and visit a nearby national park, national forest, state park or local city park. We are fortunate to have such an amazing system of forests, rivers, mountains, grasslands and lakes preserved for public use.

Tons of parks and natural areas are taking part in the National Public Lands Day celebration. Find more information here: National Public Lands Fee-Free Days or call your local parks to make sure they are participating.

If you do head out into the mountains, prairies or other open spaces be sure to bring your camera. A photo of your adventure may earn you a $200 gift card to Sierra Trading Post in our Share Your Adventure Photo Contest.
