Blondo Kasandra Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

I usually wear 8.5-9 M and per the recommendation to buy 1/2 size up, purchased a 9.5. Overall, they fit but weren't the immediately comfortable boots that I had hoped for. There are a few areas that will require a bit of stretching. The calves are a bit tight. They have gores that allow a bit of stretch to the calves so I could fully zip the but it's still tight. I expect this should loosen with wear. I also have a hot spot on my right heel. Not sure why as it's not a problem on my left heel....it might just be my feet. Although it feels as if my toes have plenty of space, I don't quite feel that the balls of my feet are fully planted in the shoe when I step. This might be because I have a high instep. In any case, they look really nice and are really well constructed. I'm hoping they will be more comfortable with a litte breaking-in.
