    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I really liked these boots but I only had them for about 4 weeks before I noticed I had wet feet. The bottom was falling apart and did not stay sealed nicely. I sent them back in exchange for a new pair. The second pair did the same thing within two weeks. I am very disappointed because they are so comfortable and warm (if your feet stay dry).

    I have relatively narrow feet, but these were way to narrow around the front of the foot and toes, and too wide at the heel. Very uncomfortable (even though the correct size) and my feet got very cold, despite claims that it was a cold-weather boot. I sent them back. Too bad, because they were very cute.

    These are great boots! Very warm, so warm in fact I sometimes don't have to wear socks even in single digit weather. I think they are very stylish, comfy and so easy to put on and take off. I'm usually a 9 1/2 but ordered the 10 in these because that's all that was available and they fit just fine; especially with thick winter socks. Highly recommend.

    With a supportive footbed, warm lining, and an easy fit over the calf, these boots' comfort is unsurpassed. The color is closest to a forest green with dark rose and ecru embroidery. Tights will tuck into the boot; the right length winter skirt or gauchos work, too. This is my second pair of Blondos, and both have a shoe-like fit and lovely style.

    They are slim cut and not clunky. I took them to New York in December for a business trip and ended up wearing them most of the weekend. I walked everywhere and did not end up with blisters or sweaty feet. They fit under my dress slacks and looked work appropriate, but the contrast stitching makes them fun to wear with a skirt on the weekend.
