5.0 out of 5 stars. Another winnerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Another old lady from Arizona on Tuesday, December 23, 2014Yes, they are definitely a half-size smaller than usual, I had to get a 7.5 and usually 7 in Blondo is quite adequate. Lots of toe room.Yes, one could probably eventually pull a chunk out of the back by always holding them in the same place with two fingers to pull on--hold both sides and step into them. The ankle is close but not too tight, is supportive. Wool all the way down--real shearling can be worn without socks and still be passable for years, unlike the textile-foam lining that's too common in winter boots and sucks up the sweat and dirt.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for my needsReviewed by Femma from Illinois on Friday, December 12, 2014Comfortable, the fit is spot-on true to size, and a perfect blend of style meets functionality. From the feel of the quality, I do not think I will have to buy snow boots again for a long time.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by ellobie from Chicago on Tuesday, December 9, 2014Super cute, dressy enough for the office, rugged enough to the snow & ice of Chicago, but runs really small.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Difficult to put onReviewed by Annie b from Chicago on Sunday, September 7, 2014I wore these boots regularly for 2 winters, l live in the city & walk everywhere. I did really like them - attractive, warm/dry & comfortable. My only complaint is that they were quite difficult to put on. They just slip on but with the leather lacing on the outside it takes a bit of work to loosen the lace and angle your foot. I actually ended up pulling a piece of the back of the boot off near the end of last winter while pulling on (it is very nice, soft leather) The missing piece was strangely unnoticeable and I wore the last month like that and no one could tell.
Also, I found that they never really stood up fully as shown in picture but that did not really bother me & perhaps I could have done the laces differently had it been an issue. The shearling folded over in a nice, slouchy way.
Obviously, I liked them enough to put up with the hassle daily for two years but it was annoying. Were finding replacements not so time consuming I might have retired them sooner.
I wear an eleven and ordered an eleven - they fit just fine.
