I had to send these back, the calf was so wide it felt like it was flapping on my legs. I have large calves and struggle to find boots so this was surprising. The boot felt narrow thru the foot.

Did not fit well at all. Had to be returned.

Bought these for my young adult daughter....11w is NOT an easy find! She loves these boots....They've hardly been off her feet since she received them for Christmas!

Love these boots. The heal is just the right height and stable for walking. The leather is soft and supple. The calf is roomy but not sloppy.

I bought these for a trip to Boston over the holidays,mand knew I would be dressing up more than my usual suede fur lined boots would allow. I love boots made in Canada, and have generally found them warm and well-made. I was dubious about the partial side zippers, but they are actually good at tugging down pant bottoms I usually just stuff inside. It also makes them easy to remove. I was also dubious about the wedge, as I wanted a dressier boot. But the wedge is well shaped, and gives off a sleek appearance, while is more comfortable than a higher heel. They were a bit large, and my feet slipped to the front of the boot until I put orthotic insoles in, and that seemed to do the trick. I had extra room so that they weren't pinching, but allowed me to stand for at least 4 hours without pain at a holiday party. I usually get boots a bit large, wanting the comfort; but if you want a closer fit, order your actual size. They are also quite generous in the calf, which also has an elastic gusset. With just tights, it was a little too wide, but worked well if you plan to wear over jeans or pants. I also can add boot cuffs to take up the extra space in the top. The slouch effect adds to the interest, and it all seems to work well together as a good style for either casual or dress wear. The sole has a good enough grip that I hope they won't slip on snow or ice, but have not worn them on that surface yet. They seemed warm enough, but I didn't spend a lot of time outside with them; but given the generous sizing and calf, can wear with thick socks. I don't know if they are waterproof, as it did not snow or rain when we were there.

These boots look exactly as pictured but unfortunately they do not feet me well due to my very athletic calves. Regretfully they are going back.

These are beautiful boots, well made, and very classy looking. I ordered a size up after reading the reviews, however I could have ordered my normal size. I kept them because I can wear wool socks in the winter as I'm not sure how warm they will be. (Haven't had a chance to test their warmth yet.) I wanted a pair of boots that were weather resistant, here in New England, and that also looked a little dressy. I have very wide calves, so I rarely find boots I can wear, if I can get them on, I can't get them off. These zip all the way to the knee, so they are easy to get on and off, and I can even tuck my jeans in! The only slight negative comment I have is that they bunch in the ankles. I like the way they look and feel, though, so I am keeping them. I get so many comments on my beautiful boots.

The boots were gorgeous - exactly as pictured - but one was narrower than the other. Both were tagged as wide width, but the right boot was definitely regular width. A past leg injury has left me with chronic swelling in my left foot and leg, but that boot had room to spare while the right one cut off the circulation to my toes.

the foot part fit well...it was definitely for a narrow foot and the calf was humongous...i could have fit both of my calves in one boot
