Blue Ice Italian Dobby Skirt Suit (For Women)

For a cold day on the mountain attending a significant event this suit was perfect. Wore with black cashmere sweater, black leather gloves and black & white scarf. I love this suit. Do you have any like it in another color? P.S. It was on sale. Got for very good price. Have seen suits that cost more but were not as attractive.

I wear mainly for work. I can mix with other sweaters and blouses or with the jacket it came with.

The fabric of this suit is a loose-weave, so be careful of snags. The colors are very subtle--black, tan, and white all mixed together. Up close you can see individual colors; far away it looks dark gray. Very pretty! The skirt is a great length, too.

OK, I ordered this hoping my body would be the right fit for this suit and it is not, so let me be as explicit as possible about size. I ordered the Small. My jacket size is typically a 4-6. This jacket hung off of me like it was at least 2 sizes too big. The sleeves were very long and it was boxy and I looked like I was wearing my dad's jacket or something. Then then skirt, which is very cute, is pretty short for what you would expect of a suit of this quality. I am in the 2 -4 size range for skirts, and this one fit me but hit about 2 inches above the knee, so not scandalous, but I would expect knee length should be standard for a skirt suit. [...]. The bottom is far too small for the matched jacket, so people need to be able to mix and match, especially for the price and quality of the fabric.

I had high hopes for this suit, but it really didn't deliver. The skirt seemed snug (and too short for the jacket) and the jacket seemed way to large (and too boxy for the skirt.

I wore this to an interview and got the job, so it holds a special place in my heart. I found it to look great with a black camisole, and thought that the man-style jacket paired with a skirt was attractive. The shoulders have slight padding , but didn't make me look like I belonged on the swim team. The sleeves were long, which was great for me. All in all, a good buy.

I really like the jacket and will keep the suit for that reason. I'm not so crazy about the skirt, it's a little tight, and I'd prefer it to be about 2-3 inches longer.
