Blue Ridge Home Fashions Feather Bed - Down Pillow Top, Queen

Longtime STP customer here & 1st of all I'm a bit upset that this product is pictured with the appearance of a higher fashioned Damask patterned cover,it's plain heavy weight calendared cloth. 2ndly,whoever took the photo must've spent hours fluffing this thing up to get it to bulk like that. I shook mine for about 15 - 20 minutes & it does not have the loft or self-sustaining shape as photo'd. But, it's still a decent product but do not expect it to appear as depicted and this is why I give the product low marks. I experienced no smell or loss of down after use,it ends up compressing to about 1-2"s thick but comfortable. I recommend, but don't be fooled by the photo.

I needed to replace my old featherbed I had gotten from Linens'N Things about 8-10 years ago - it had developed a whole in the fabric along a stitch line. This new bed is better constructed, more rectangular and has an impenetratable top. It also seems to stay in place a lot better. I had to use a mattress pad for about 2-3 months at least with the old bed but this one - mattress pad not necessary, one less thing to wash. I do know how to wash them but there are no instructions on it. But I LOVE IT!!

There is no skirt or straps to secure the featherbed to the mattress. Otherwise a good quality product.

Most comfortable I have slept in years. Of course you have to fluff it. They are feathers.

This pillow top is wonderful, I pulled it out of the box put it on the bed and fluffed it a bit and it was ready to go. The loft is great, very comfortable, it makes you want to crawl into bed. I've also noticed that I stay warmer when its colder outside and also stay more comfortable when it hot out side. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this to my friends.

Bought this as a top for a bed we use for guests. Very nice! We got to try it out while our bedroom was being renovated and the temps outside were in the negative numbers. The feather bed was very warm and comfortable.

it is heavy for a down product. i believe this is because it is constructed with lower quality down. they do make up for this by using quite a bit of down. hence its weight. overall a nice product.

The comments of the quills poking I have not found to be true with my bed. This topper is soft, well made and very, very comfortable. I can't find a single fault in the item and I have been using it for two months now.

this feather bed by Blue Ridge discribes comfort at its best. I love climing in my bed at the end of the day and feel like I am floating on a cloud of fluffiness...in short, heavenly sleep.
