    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The inside of the woven upper is lined, but it stops before it meets the footbed. The leather is so stiff and rough that it wore a hole in my foot right where I would have a bunion, if I had one. My feet are narrow, but these sandals hurt terribly in a very short time. The footbed also has a patch that fell right under my forefoot so that hurt too. They'd be cute enough, otherwise.

    The shoes are not stable on the wedge heels... It felt like I was teetering from side to side. The leather on top was stiff and didn't look good on my foot... I am sending them back

    The heel is higher than I'm used to, so I first I was a little wobbly but I got used to it. Also they chafed at the inside arch at first, but not enough to make a blister. As I wear these in and get used to them, I expect the styling will meet my needs for summer events where a pretty skirt is required-- church, dates, etc...

    These are great for work - they do squeak when you wear them though. The footbed under the heal sticks because of the leather tag. Otherwise, rather comfortable - just don't go for long walks in them.

    These cute sandals are comfy but for the top portion that rubs on the big toe. They rubbed the skin off the tops of my big toes on both feet. Decided to rub Vaseline on the shoe and attach moleskin instead of return them.
