    this didn't protect me from sun burn, my back was all red with just 1 hour of snokling. another thing I really didn't like about this shirt was too much buoyancy & it was impossible for me to free dive.

    I bought a large for my teenage son, who often wears a mens medium. He likes it, but the large is none too large around the chest. We have not yet surf-tested the shirt, but it seems like a good product.

    I wore this snorkeling in the Caribbean for 1 week. I wear a 40 regular suit, am 6' tall and weigh 180 lbs. I bought a 2xl, knowing that I wanted a tight but not painted-on fit. I probably should have gone with an xl, but believe me the 2xl was still skin-tight. As far as performance, this was comfortable to wear and kept me burn free, which was well worth the price.
