Body Glove 540 Rash Guard - Short Sleeve (For Men)

I am a woman (size 12-14) who bought this because the XL woman's long-sleeved rash guard I've used for several years under my life vest in the Pacific NW was too warm for my summer vacation in Hawaii. I also wanted something looser and less restrictive, and this is a perfect fit for me. I can see where it may be too small for an XL man, but for a woman my size, it is comfortable and will work well under my snorkel and diving gear.

All rash guards fit/feel way too small. I got the men's medium and I am female, 5'2", 125 lbs., 34C and this is a form-fitting shirt! I have to get a large in the women's size to even get the shirt on me.

I am a woman and bought this for myself to use at the pool and beach. I call myself the "Lobster Queen" because I'm pale, I burn, I peel, then repeat. The UV50 is a godsend, I can swim some laps or sit poolside without constantly reapplying sunscreen. I wear a women's 16/18, somewhere between a XL and 1X, and this fits me just fine, not too constricting, but it is tight. I just wish it was NOT BLACK... if you are out of the water and in the sun, it does heat up pretty quickly.

I bought a size up as I know my hubby dislikes tight fits especially under the arms, but the rash guard is just poorly fit under the arms and across the chest even so.

First it is tight, like a glove. But I think that is how a rush guard is for. I am 153lb, 5'11". Normally wear S to M on shirts/pants. Ordered M this time due to others' mention about size. Feel breathlessly tight at first. But soon forgot it coz I dropped into water a lot during windsurfing. Overall it is functional and good quality. I like it.

Get the larger size and it will still be form fitting, but with room to move.

At the minimum, order at least one size larger or you will have problems putting it on.

Good item but two sizes too small! I'm between medium and large for most shirts and paddling gear. Got a medium knowing it should fit snug, replaced with Large but should have ordered XL.

Good protection against sun burn, too.
