This shirt is useful to avoid the discomfort of constant wave action and sun exposure. I advise buying one size up from your norm.

I use this for bodyboarding in warm waters. It fits great, is true to size and looks good.

a little hard putting on and taking off but all rash guards are. I swim outdoors all year and this works great for a little extra warmth

Excellent for swimming distance in an outdoor pool. Offers sun protection and thermal regulation benefits. I bought a size larger than I usually wear and I am happy I did.

IMPORTANT: I DESCRIBED THE SHIRT AS "FEELS TOO SMALL" BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I GOT MY USUAL SIZES AND "EASY TO PUT ON AND OFF" BECAUSE I UPSIZED TO XL. I WEAR MED OR LG (5'10" 175 LBS) DEPENDING ON THE BRAND. BASED ON OTHER REVIEWS I GOT THE XL AND IT FITS GOOD. GET BIGGER SIZES. Used it for swimming. Rather comfy in and out of water except felt tightness around neck from collar but think it's supposed to be like that to keep water from seeping in. I think for the price there really isn't anything I could find to complain about the shirt. Good buy.

nothing bad - all good

I am a woman (size 12-14) who bought this because the XL woman's long-sleeved rash guard I've used for several years under my life vest in the Pacific NW was too warm for my summer vacation in Hawaii. I also wanted something looser and less restrictive, and this is a perfect fit for me. I can see where it may be too small for an XL man, but for a woman my size, it is comfortable and will work well under my snorkel and diving gear.

All rash guards fit/feel way too small. I got the men's medium and I am female, 5'2", 125 lbs., 34C and this is a form-fitting shirt! I have to get a large in the women's size to even get the shirt on me.
