This provides excellent sun protection. My only complaint is although it is very snug initially, it becomes too loose on the arms after 5-6 weeks. I buy 2 at a time so I always have an extra one available.

I have not used this rash guard yet, but plan to do so surfing in Hawaii. As noted by others it is snug fitting which makes it a little hard to get on and off, but my impression is that I will like the fit in the water for the purposed I have purchased it for.
