    We use this for our 5 year old over his wetsuit. Would've given it 5 stars, but the attatchment between the legs came undone, and haven't reattatched it in a secure way yet. Though he can swim, having the floaty shirt on gives both of us security.

    I think it is important to get young kids used to swimming as early as possible. This float shirt not only provides security without restricting arm movement ( as water wings did) but also protection from sunburn at the same time. Great product that solves these two issues.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Bought with my grandchildren in mind. This is probably a good product for beginning swimmers until they gain confidence in their ability; however, it does not qualify as a PFD (personal flotation device)and should not be used with that intent. It was not allowed in our public swimming pool and for that reason it was returned unopened and untried!
