Body Glove Surfari Lounge Watch - Chronograph, Leather Band (For Men)

A fairly big watch - imagine an Oreo cookie on your wrist. The watch is thin and light for it's size. A very. very slight dome to the crystal. The strap is on the longer side. The khaki face is very neutral in color, much less yellowish than it looks on my monitor. The watch is very easy to read during the day, but numbers seem more luminescent than the hands in the dark. The three sub-dials are clock seconds, timer minutes, and a 24 hour clock (not timer). I originally thought the 24 hour clock sub-dial was a strange waste of space, but I've grown to like the "context" it gives to the day...for example, when the hand is straight down, the day is half over. Like many, I wear an analog watch instead of a digital because I prefer to see time in "context", and the 24 hour sub-dial adds to that impression. Did not include instructions. To quick-set the date, pull the crown out, then push back in half way. To set the timer second hand (the large second hand), pull crown out, then push timer start button until hand is where you want it to start (usually 12).

everyday use

I wanted a big watch, and this is BIG - it looked nice. The leather strap was also very attractive and of good quality. However, the stopwatch function didn't work. The seconds timer would not reset, so I had to send it back. [...] It may be the one I ordered was a fluke defective one, but I did not exchange it for another one. Because of the stopwatch issue, I would not recommend.

This is a nice watch, but the face is very very large and heavy. This is the look for the younger gents but could only serve as a weekend watch for others.

I have not worn a watch in about 20 years. I love this watch. The stop watch function is great as well as quiet. I have owned the watch for 2 weeks and it seems to keep accurate time. The band is comfortable and it looks great.

The watch was waaaay bigger then the images make it appear, huge in fact. I don't mind it and it doesn't take away from the watches style just be prepared. Also the crown is suppose to screw in the the watch to ensure water resistance mine does not. I did not plan to dive or surf with it anyway so no matter, but again FYI.

Stopwatch hand already failed. Will not return to the 12 hand. Otherwise, great looking watch.For [$] it is a good looking watch considering you get what you pay for.
