We ordered this shirt in XL for my son who needs a cover up when he participates in water sports. XL is usually slightly baggy on him, but even with assistance, he could not put this shirt on without looking like his entire body had been stuffed inside a TEDS stocking. The material has some stretch, but the seam thread does not, effectively acting as a tourniquet on his arms, belly, and neck. We wonder if the size was mislabeled on the shirt or if all of this brand tend to run small. If you order this shirt, definitely get it in one size larger. We realize rash guard shirts are supposed to be close fitting, but this was way beyond that standard and dangerously tight. We liked that it had an attached loop in the middle of the front hem to secure the shirt to his trunks, helping the shirt stay on and not ride up. The loop would also help divers and surfers from accidentally losing their trunks in the water. As always, Sierra Trading was great about making the exchange as hassle free as possible. We returned the shirt and replaced it with another Body Guard brand rash guard shirt in XL with short sleeves and it fits properly. My son loves the shirt.
