Bob and Bill Meistrell, the brothers who founded
Body Glove, have always loved water; it's the passion for water that took them from the farm ponds of Missouri to the beaches of L.A.'s South Bay, where they discovered the thrill of surfing. In 1953 they borrowed $1800 and bought out the Dive 'n' Surf shop, eventually turning it into the top surfing and diving retail establishment in Southern California.
