Bogner Linen-Silk Gypsy Skirt (For Women)

The item arrived wrinkled due to packing as linen/silk will do. After I ironed it with steam, the details really magnified and the fabric did not "re-wrinkle" with wear. This is an elegant skirt that can be worn with sandals or dressy flats or heels. The pink color has depth and the fabric catches light beautifully.

The Bogner Gypsy Skirt is Very Elegant. It looks absolutely perfect with the Bogner Gaetana Silk-Satin Shirt item #2415J in the creme color. I purchased the skirt in navy, size 12 and I ordered a size larger than I normally wear as was suggested at the Sierra Trading Post Site. It has a beautiful drape and wonderful movement when you walk. It definitely does run smaller in the hip area, hugging the hips. I like wearing my skirts below the waist so the larger size is perfect. The lace is not white, but more of a cream and beige color and it coordinates well with the Gaetana Silk Shirt in the cream color as it also has gorgeous lace detail throughout.

The skirt is lovely, but I haven'y worn it yet. I'm decidign whether to have the waist taken in because it does not fit in the waist area and slips down (and I do not have a small waist.) I'm also looking for a blouse that works well with it. The cotton peasant style shirts look ok, but I feel like a waitress in a Munich beer garden. I think something in silk should work well.
