Bogner Mikka Jacket - Embellished Soft Shell (For Women)

The pictures do not convey the amount of dazzle due to the rhinestones against the black fabric. There is also a large patch on the arm that feels a little too showy to me. The whole thing feels a little over the top to me and limits the jacket's versatility: it's great for skiing in Gstaad, but I'm not sure I'm going to have many other uses for it. Still, I basically like it.

Nice touch of bling for the holidays, not too much that you couldn't wear it around town. I would have liked the torso tighter, for more cold air blockage but I read how the sleeves were tight so I ordered my regular size. It fits well and looks great too, a wardrobe classic!

This states soft shell and is from a reputable snowsports apparel manufacturer, yet wouldn't ever see the outdoors. I would say that is more like a track jacket than a "soft shell" which is synonymous with something you would wear on the ski hill.

I now have this jacket in black and in off-white. Normally a size small, the size medium works better for me for layering. If you had to choose just one color, I would get the black. It's more versatile and doesn't soil as easily. Either way, I love this jacket!

Compliments galore! A real attention-getter. I love this soft shell jacket (I got it in black). I wore it to work today and received numerous compliments. I wore it before around my family and also got compliments. The cut is very stylish and flattering. I especially like the two-way zipper. It is a little snug in the arms, so if you want to layer, you might want to order 1 size up. I wore it with a thin silk turtleneck underneath. It gives extra warmth in a cold room/office, and is sleek enough to wear under a coat or jacket. I like this shell so much that I just ordered another in off-white. I hope it looks as good as the black! I am trying a medium this time instead of the small with the hope that I can wear a heavier garment underneath. I highly recommend this stylish garment!
