Closeouts. The Boker Cinch Executive Roper knife is made in Germany with a very high level of precision and craft. It is a perfect knife for daily use: big enough for leverage and comfort, but compact enough to carry with ease.
Dual thumb studs for one-hand opening
Combination serrated and plain blade
Excellent handle design for comfort and a secure grip
VERY sharp right out of the box. No indication whatsoever as to where it's manufactured; in fact, it doesn't even say "Boker" anywhere, just "Cinch". Blade does not rest centered between sides when stowed, the blade "decal" with Cinch logo was scratched, I had to clean it up a bit as it didn't look new -- AND it arrived wrapped in wax paper. Was this one used & returned after someone pried with it? Also, the rosewood is MUCH darker than depicted. Nice knife, but not as nice as I was led to believe; STP pricing was fair, not great. Buy with eyes wide open.....

It's a good knife, but it is not as represented in the catalog. According to the Boker catalog, the Cinch series are Argentinian made, not the German variety made in Solingen. This matters A LOT to people who like fine knives. I would have sent it back, but I decided to use it as my daily work knife, which was due for replacement anyway. Good knife, but I'm disappointed.

Great Boker knife! Clearly after researching its Boker quality 440C steel and not an Arborito piece, which are the Argentina manuf. products. So nice bought a couple as gifts as well!Steal one while you can because I think this is also discontinued with this handle.

This is a fantastic Boker knife. This is a specialty knife from Cinch by Boker Manufaktur Soligen. Some info from other places " The Blade is Solingen 440 Stainless Steel with Cinch logo and number 90 etching and dual thumb grips for easy opening. Solingen Steel is regarded as the highest quality knife steel in the world." Don't hesitate to purchase if looking for quality Boker knife at a great price!

Solidly made and very attractive, but although it is stated in the ad that the knife is made in Germany, there is NO information on either the knife or packaging as to where the knife was made. The insert did say that Boker knives are made in both Germany and Argentina. Also no info on knife as to the type od SS used. Curious
