2.0 out of 5 stars. Not as good as it looksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Toby's Walk Buddy from CT on Sunday, March 22, 2015It looked like a nice knife, I liked the wood handle, but I was disappointed. The blade was poorly sharpened, the handle edges and transitions are poor. Oh well, you get what you pay for.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Two-handed operationReviewed by Anonymous from Indiana on Friday, March 6, 2015First impression: This is a good-looking knife, and it feels nice in the hand. Finish is tight, it is as nice a China-made knife as I have owned. For the price, it initially is better than expected.
BUT... a couple things to notice. First of all, there is no thumb-stud, so one-handed opening is not possible. That isn't a big deal, unless you're used to flipping a knife open. This one is all you -- no spring-assist or anything. Again, no big deal.
HOWEVER, the liner lock is so tight that CLOSING it is also a two-handed operation. Rather than push the lock with my right thumb as you would expect (I'm right handed) I actually have to PULL the lock with the index finger of my right hand while I fold the blade with my left hand. To call it "awkward" would be an understatement.
To be fair, I just received the knife today, so I will work with it to see if it will loosen up -- and if it does, I will post a follow-up review. Again, the knife is solid and tightly-built. When it comes to the lock, though, "tight" is not a good thing.
