Hadn't seen this particular piece before --- I'm a fanatic for almost anything "full tang" as it makes the strongest knife possible -- this knife is very well done, extremely sharp, solid comfortable handle scales, all with a wicked looking blade --- perfect size, and easy to use, the "integril" gua... Reviewed by DH from Middle Georgia on Wednesday, July 31, 2013I would like to echo the other 1-star reviewer as the knife I received was in identical condition. The tip was square/blunt and the grind on each side of the blade was not symmetrical. Not even close. The blade was extremely dull and is in need of grinding to establish a decent and consistent angle, not just honing. The handles fit poorly and the rough edge of the tang protrudes slightly around the entire periphery. The rivets were not seated properly and they have sharp edges around the entire diameter. Undoubtedly the knife I received was a factory reject, not a close-out. The sheath was manufactured from cheap pig leather and serves no purpose other than as a pattern for someone to fabricate another one. This knife has potential as I like the heft of it but I don't know what it would take to bring it up to par. I do know that it's more than I am willing to invest. I'm very disappointed and this item will be returned.
Reviewed by casual camper from san diego on Monday, July 29, 2013Paid about 20 bucks for this on sale...Wouldn't do it again. Knife tip was square - yes square!! wasn't sharpened at the tip...wouldn't poke through paper - could be manufacturing flaw. Blade was also very dull and off to one side - uneven - wouldn't cut through nylon rope without sawing for about 10 seconds. Flimsy leather sheath and where the handle meets the blade, the handle (where it comes to a point) has sharp edges which would make it very difficult to use for any extended period of time without it digging into your fingers. I'll keep it for the price, but will send it to a profession to be sharpened the right way...reminds me of a cheap blade you'd buy in Tijuana from a street vendor. Do not recommend you buy this knife.

Reviewed by Anonymous from alabama on Monday, April 29, 2013This knife is built very welland is a great value. It is rugged with a thick blade that carries its thickness well into the length of the blade. The black leather sheath is okay. The handle is slick and if wet will become slippery.I will wrap mine with 550 cord. I have both two more for Christmas gifts. Like this knife better than the SOG knife I purchased.
