Boker Plus Bowie Knife - 7½" Combo Blade

Great knife with excellent heft and versatilty. Large though, not for the faint of heart!

Besides being a little on the heavy side, this knife is a very nice. The blade is very sharp, stays sharp, and sharpens easily, but thats what I would expect from 440C steel. I was suprised at just how large the knife really is. I like versatility when it comes to the outdoors, so it is good to have a heavy duty knife like this one as well as a lighter knife around 4 inches long. I am in awe just looking at it. Kinda reminds me of something a viking or barbarian might have carried, which makes for a good novelty knife as well. I am really glad to have this knife in my collection. I have seen knives that cost twice the price or more as this one and they are not as good. Its not a knife you would want to go hiking with because of the weight, but on a camping trip it is definately handy to have.

I am not an expert on knives, but this appears to be top of the line, well constructed, and "handy." I would be satisfied if it was only displayed in a frame as art. Functional or art, it is a exceptional value.

Well made and heavy duty knife. Excellent for standard outdoor tasks as well as such things as cutting through thick branches for firewood.

GOOD STURDY OUTDOOR KNIFE !

Another great knife from Boker. Although not made in Germany, This is a well construted knife. Thick combo blade is ideal for a varity of chores, from chopping to slicing. Big, thick micarta handle is ideal for controlling the blade. I like it so much I bought another.
