Holds, and takes, a good edge. 3/16 full tang. Never use to pry, but I do. I can also drive a nail with my channel locks though:)

Im a remodler & I love knives. Ive been trying to find an alternative to a utility knife for my tool belt, and this is ALMOST it. A better sheath might do the job. I love this knives, & this one iis small but mighty. The short handle fits the palm very well for power and control, and comfortably allows the index finger to ride on the back of the blade for extra control and tip pressure. This is a strong, thick 3/16", full tang blade made of a high quality steel. It takes a nice edge that I have challenged with on the job tasks which dulled the blade within exceptable tolerance. The blade will need light attention after a work day, but the one day I challenged it only required it to be stroped to restore a razor edge.

Price. I always wish people included price info for products, so hear it is:
My searches showed prices ranging between $60-$85.
Sierra Trading Post had closeouts, and with added discounts from their email, I paid $24 for my 1st one(GREAT DEAL!).
I liked it so much I bought a 2nd for $34(the discount changed, but still a good deal). I'm giving this one to my awesome brother who bought me the Spyderco Paramilitary II. If you have someone you have someone you love, and they like knives, buy them a knife, or NICE stone, or strope, or a gift card to a knife site, etc..

    From my soapbox:
Last but not least in regaurds to knives, guns, and baseball bats: none of these kill people, but people with these CAN kill people. If these get outlawed, only criminals will still get to enjoy playing baseball :-)

This is a great little knife for a variety of uses. It's small, but has plenty of heft. I carry it in my bag as my all-purpose knife. The fixed blade is much easier to keep clean than a folder. Love the micarta handle.
