“The proportions on this thing look all wrong but work great. The short wide blade is tough and stiff, great for prying and scraping in addition to cutting. The design is simple and has zero parts, so I like it as a survival type knife. It would be excellent for say, lashing to a long stick to make a spear. I wrapped the handle in cord to make it more comfy and to have a nice lanyard. I can't seem to get a true shaving edge on it, but I can't tell if that is the steel or my technique. Regardless it gets sharp enough. And as mentioned by another reviewer the scary factor is low, it does not look like some freaky big fixed blade knife.”
