    This may be made by Boker but it does not have Boker on the Blade, but another name. The quality is off from what I expect from a Boker. The rivets in the handle were too long and had sharp edges. I had to use my Dremel to grind the rivets down for comfort and safety. But it is a beautiful knife and it holds a very nice edge.

    This is the first Damascus steel knife in the three generations of family knives I have. Always wanted one and am very pleased. The tang extends slightly above the top of the handle, but not bad. The knife fits both sheaths well. I will leave this on the table when my buddies stop by.

    The Boker Stag Handle, Damascus steel knife is a work of art. It certainly is functional, but I may just retire it to a glass case. The Damascus steel coupled with the Stag handle is easy on the eye. The extra sheath does not accept this knife, but the untooled sheath does. This was a super bargin, on a great knife.

    I'm disappointed. It looks like a kit knife. The work on the guard and "tang" are rough and sharp! Either the stag was turned down too much or the steel not enough. The steel along the spine and belly of the handle needs sanding. I cut myself on the handle! The handle isn't symetical. One side is thicker than the other. I'm sure it will function fine but in this price range, I would have expected better.
