Comfortable Grip, Good design, Good Weight, Sharp Blade, Versatile
Cons:
440A, Dulls Quickly
Best Uses:
Backcountry Camping, Camp or survival knife, Day Trips, River Trips, Survival
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“Comfortable in the hand and designed well. Textured Micarta handle grips well even in wet conditions. Leather sheath is versatile with the heavy clip, put it on your belt, pack, etc. 440A is one of the softest steels but also has a high corrosion resistance. Would serve well for a diver or fisherman. For the Hunter the drop point blade is perfect for field dressing but animal hair will dull the soft steel fast. Boker is known for quality knives. Three stars not one of my prefered knife steels.”
