    Pros:
Comfortable Grip, Durable, Easy To Use, Good Weight, Sharp Blade
    Best Uses:
    Backcountry Camping, Survival
    Describe Yourself:
    Casual/ Recreational
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This knife just feels "right" -- good heft, nicely balanced, positive grip, ruggedly simple. Micarta handle seems indestructable. Leather sheath is of higher quality than the larger Boker's sheath and is finished on both sides. I'm not a knife connoisseur, but this is a sweet piece made sweeter at STP pricing.

The jigged micarta handle feels great in my hand. I like the clip sheath - it rides high on the hip, so it's out of the way and out of sight. The combination blade does it all. A great all-purpose knife at a great price.

Balance, feel, grip, above average.Lack of belt loop on scabbard was dissapointing, but, knife is well worth it w/o a scabbard. For some reason modern knife makers think a clip is cool,NOT.

    440A, Dulls Quickly
    Best Uses:

Comfortable in the hand and designed well. Textured Micarta handle grips well even in wet conditions. Leather sheath is versatile with the heavy clip, put it on your belt, pack, etc. 440A is one of the softest steels but also has a high corrosion resistance. Would serve well for a diver or fisherman. For the Hunter the drop point blade is perfect for field dressing but animal hair will dull the soft steel fast. Boker is known for quality knives. Three stars not one of my prefered knife steels.

Had bought the larger, dark version of this knife a couple of months ago, and was very pleased overall at the quality for the price. I liked the knife, but it was big with it's 5" blade. Gave it to my son for Christmas. I wanted to try this smaller one thinking it should be just right. It is. Shiny stainless version is priced better than the dark. If you ever need a dark blade, flat black spray paint will work in a pinch. It is built hearty, but is not even felt on the belt. Another great deal on a great knife.

Good balance.Thicker, heavier blade than expected.Workmanship on blade and scales show no uneven surfaces, burrs, etc.Clip on metal scabbard clip is a sure way to lose it unless you are real sedentary.

The handle really isn't that bad, it's actually really comfortable. The knife is sharp and has stayed sharp on many outings and hunting trips.

The handle does not seem to fit the knife. A little grinding makes it great.
