Haven't had the chance to break it in yet, but it looks to be more than up to the task. The full tang is thicker than I had expected, and my first thought was "how heavy?". Not bad at all, and the well made sheath lays close to the hip so it stays out of the way. The micarta handle slabs are thick, and should be as indestructable as the steel. Small hands may not fit. Worth every penny if you ever had to call on it hard. May buy my son one!

This is a very comfortable knife and comes with a nice sheath. The grip is quite comfortable and seems to have a nice heft while maintaining a good balance. The full tang blade is a pretty thick piece of stainless so it should easily last for years even under hard use.

Fantastic fit and finish. Personally I like the blued metal, and am happy to have gone that route. Not like some big Rambo knife; I'd be happy to use this knife around the camp without scaring the kids and ladies (!) Maybe not the best choice for going crazy chopping firewood or large kindling, but hey you could almost sit down for dinner with this guy! I immediately ordered the the 4" model, (Blued) if that's anything to go by.
Boker is obviously a great Solingen blade producer, and one always is somewhat skeptical, or at least a bit anxious about their purchase if it's in some way "outsourced". Forget about all that. They have the Boker Magic in Argentina Too!
