    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have a pair of photochromic goggles from Julbo but was looking for something that had better visibility in low light situations. These Bolle goggles are perfect for that. In the snow and fog I was able to see the variations in the snow perfectly, and when the sun popped out they darkened up nicely. There's no more need to change goggles due to changing conditions. I don't know how they will be on a true bluebird day, but I usually use an amber lens in those conditions anyway. I can't wait to night ski in these things!

I ended up sending these back because after speaking with Bolle I found out that they are made for small faces. The goggles were much too concave to fit my average sized adult head. They would probably work for a older child, or young teenager, or very petite female. Construction seems fine and goggles are probably a good value provided they fit. I ended up buying a pair of Bolle Gravity goggles that are also photochromatic, but unfortunately considerably more expensive.

I used these goggles for several hours, and not once did they fog up. This is a great goggle at a really really excellent price. You could spend twice as much and the quality wouldn't match. The photochromic lens is also great at this price. I didn't get to use it in changing conditions (sunny all day) but its a nice feature that you normally don't get at this price point. I'm a guy, and these look nice. the lens is more reddish in real life and the red looks nice with the white frame. The only downside to this is the fit. I used this along with a Head helmet, and while it fit when I wore the goggles, it doesn't stay when you take the goggles off and leave them strapped to the helmet. I had to take them off completely or leave them hanging loose behind the helmet.

I was able to look directly into the sun without any problem. Easily adjustability. No fog with varied conditions. Very happy

Haven't been able to actually take them out so I can't comment on fogging or glare (though reviews on other sites have been very favorable to this and their overall quality). Lens quality seems great and is by far the cheapest photochromic lens I've seen period. Persimmon color is also good for the interquartile range of light. Visibility though is good and they fit just fine with a Giro helmet (double adjustment strap allows for a lot of slack). Sizing is probably the only major thing. I'm fortunate with these that I have a pretty narrow face but even then they just barely fit (they're very concave). For me this actually means they fit perfectly and don't pinch my nose like some other goggles do, but they're definitely meant for those with smaller faces. Can't wait to give 'em a true test run!
