I wore these the other day as it was snowing my entire ski day at Mary Jane. The clarity of the goggle was wonderful, and I could see all contours in the snow, and on the trail. My ski buddies did not have the same clarity that these goggles provided. My only gripe was that the helmet I was wearing caused the goggles to ride on the lower part of my nose. Other than that, the goggles were wonderful. Well worth the price, and I would definately recommend them.

The lens coating is wrinkled, like a giant fingerprint, on about 1/3 of one side, and a big spot on the other side, and 3 big wrinkles in the middle. Totally useless now. Bought them last January and got injured before they arrived, so I stored them inside. Used them for maybe a week and didn't like how dark they were, then pulled them back out and noticed the lens was ruined.

Sierra is a wonderful company, but it is a shame that they still sell this goggle. I bought it a year ago and thought it was great... and it was for a few months. I pulled it out of my ski bag after 10 months of storage and the lens is badly distorted and unusable. It has a defective coating, as several other reviews have noted. I suggest Sierra return the whole lot to Bolle. This seems to be a typical experience after a year of storage. This is not an issue of storage conditions- two other pairs of goggles were in the same ski bag and are perfect.

Fit and finish is up to par; however, I could care less for the metal badge on the all black style. Normally this would be a decent pair of goggles, but this one had a significant lens coating defect under the lens description sticker, below the brow, and above the nose piece rendering them useless. This is the second bad experience I've had with purchasing optics from STP, which I will not repeat ever again. These were described as "closeouts", but they really are 2nds due to these obvious manufacturing defects. I decided not to risk returning them for another likely defective pair from STP, since the lot is likely bad as well, and returned them directly to Bolle. It could take 8 weeks for a replacement from Bolle. Yikes! Buyer Beware!
