    If you're not layering, I'd probably go down a size if you're undecided or in between. If you like to layer you can go with 3-4 and still have room to move. It's not bulky with insulation--- but is still quite warm on it's own. It's also long enough to keep the wind out on the chair lift.

    I love the hood on this coat. I live in the mountains and this coat blocks the wind, except in the arms. I would recommend a fleece with sleeves under this coat.
