Reviewed by Shopgrrrl from Canada on Thursday, September 25, 2014The quality of the materials and workmanship exceeded my expectations. The fabric of these pants is very heavy duty and I have no concerns about my son wearing these out or ever getting wet in them. I expect them to last through him and then his younger brother and still be good to go for another few years after that. My son is 5'6", 125# and the small was just a bit long and roomy on him, perfect as he is still growing and I want these to last at least one season and hopefully two. The bib comes up pretty high, which is great for warmth and protection as he loves to ski or ride with just a light jacket, but some may find it too constricting. The pants have a light lining which was as-expected (my son is perpetually hot, so this is perfect for him). The long 2-way zipper on the bib will make it easier to answer the call of nature, and the leg vent zippers are not a feature I've seen before but may prove useful on warm days. The pants were somewhat heavier and stiffer than I anticipated. The description says "cotton hand oxford fabric", but I didn't' really know what that meant until I saw them. I've also never had pants with such a high waterproof rating, so perhaps the weight/stiffness is standard for this grade of pant. Overall I think they were an excellent value and will serve my sons well for several years.

As far as I can tell these run true to size. I am 6'4" 250lbs with a 36" waist and the xl fits perfectly. I can honestly say that these bibs will last me at least 5 seasons and I average 40+ days a year in the Pacific NW.
Bonfire never ceases to impress me!
