“The pants are like a heavy shell with a very thin layer of insulation. The outer fabric is a nice soft canvassy feel and looks like it will hold up a long time. There are lots of great pockets. I normally wear an XL and that's what I ordered. I thought they were a perfect fit for putting a thin layer or two underneath.”
