i use the jacket for snowboarding i like the color i dont like that itdoesnt breathe ultra good

This is a nice looking very well made jacket. When purchasing it, the jacket was listed as insulated and waterproof. Though I haven't tested it under extreme conditions, the jacket seems to be very well made and I can attest that it keeps me dry in moderate rain. So far as the insulation goes, if there is any, there is not much. Maybe there is a little below the skirt area but that's all I can find. I wanted something good for cold days on the slopes, good looking enough for casual wear around town, and that I could also throw on to snow blow the driveway when snow was flying and the wind howling. This works but when it's really cold you need to layer. That means it's not going to work as well for a casual cold weather coat. On the other hand the fact that it's basically a shell does add versatility and makes it a decent walk around jacket in milder weather. I do like it and will keep it but it's not quite what I expected.

this jacket s for my snowboarding son. He liked the jacket because it was lightweight and different. Lots of great features and well made.

What a perfect jacket. I live in WI and the winters are frigid so I have been searching for the warmest jacket for months. I purchased this coat and was amazed at how warm it kept me being outdoors in 15degree weather for a few hours. I am always cold so this was a perfect match. I purchased the size I would normally wear and am able to wear a fleece under. The jacket has enough pocket space for what I need to carry. I like that the hood wraps more around the head than normal hoods; it keeps the wind out! When indoors, I was able to keep the jacket on without getting overheated. I like that it has buttons on the inside that close around the hip area so drafts of wind (or snow) aren't able to get in. I am very picky about my purchases and it's worth the money spent!

A nice choice for use at your local hill. Fit a little too snug to add extra layers but adequate insulation for normal conditions. Thumb loops on inner sleeves a nice touch to keep sleeves from riding up or for warmer weather use without gloves. Quality construction. Not as many pockets as I would like for an extended outing but great for day trips.

I followed the suggestion to order small and glad I did. If you want the extra long and baggy look order your normal size, if not, go a size smaller. These pants are an excellent value. My next jacket will be a Bonfire.

A great jacket with lots of extras. I bought it for my 12 year old daughter who is 5'3" and it fits her perfectly. The hood fits on with a very innovative design and is wind-tight. She loves it.

What a deal! Style and great price from Sierra once again. the weather has not been to cold yet, so I can not rate the level of comfort under cold conditions. But my daughter loves how they fit and how they look and her friends try to snag them from her. Perfect buy for what we needed.

I love the soft lining of this jacket,all of the pockets and hood is on the bigger side but that is good for me because I like to wear a hat and it slides over my hat perfect.The sleeve length is perfect (I am a taller person) the jacket length is perfect is covers my bottem. It is a very flattering jacket.
