This backpack is comfortable beautiful and large enough.

I have not used it yet- but I stuff the heck out of it w/ almost all my gear. On its own it is lightweight but still maintains a form. Pockets galore! I love pockets. I have lots of tiny objects (zippo, Chapstick, etc) & the double fanny pack is great for those items. Lots of space & cords for hanging objects. So far & keep in mind- most of my gear is ultralight to lightweight, but I've managed to stuff the following and still have room & still lightweight.
-tightly packed 2p tent & large pad & sleeping bag
-a 2nd pad stuffed on exterior
-2 micro lanterns, LED flash-lantern, 3 ppb books, urinal, 3 double duty bags, 3 emergency Mylar blankets, pocket knife, collapsible water jug, solar shower & down pillow.
It also has a very nice waterproof bag in a hand-sized stuff pack.

I love this pack. Just got back from doing 4 days on the AT in Virginia and the pack worked great. Very comfortable and light. I didn't miss having a lot of extra pockets and such.
