Born Maritime Boots - Shearling (For Women)

True to size and fairly comfortable. I wear 6.5 and ordered 7 so I could use warm socks. Not al all waterproof or warm on the foot. Good thing that I could put on insulated socks.

I found this boots online after many trips round the local shoe-shops and countless net searches. I could not wait to get them. [...] I do not want to take them off now. 'Born Maritime' are excellent for walking the dog, etc., and look smart enough for a town centre outing, shopping, for work or a friends Xmas party. Great boots with two ways of wearing - long with the skirts or turned down with the jeans / trousers. The only tiny improvement I could suggest: to add a pair of removable shearling insoles. I have bought a pair of my own, for a really cold weather.These boots are true to size, my Euro size 37.5 + an insole = 7 US. Please, tell the 'Born' bootmakers: they should keep this model as their classic for good.

they fit perfect the most comfortable shoes I own besides the Dansko work clogs I wear every day. They are really a dress boot and I ordered them a 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and they fit perfect....the shearling is not in the foot, which I don't mind.

I use the boots to walk through deeper snow, and they perform well, and are warm, very comfortable, and stylish too. Just the kind of boot I was looking for.

Stylish but not trendy-I'll wear them for years because of their unique look. Good winter boot. Comfortable all day long.
