“These soft slipons are nearly perfect as far as fit, comfort, cushioning, support, the whole nine enchiladas. But the heel & sole are studded with orange rubber insets about half the size of a dime and you'd better wear something else if you want to catch anybody unawares; they make an audible slap-slapping as you pad around the premises. Sneaking up on one's wife is impossible, and unimaginable if your object is a younger person with better hearing.. Still, the color is a ho-hum brown and the style will not cause any excitement either: it's been used by every manufacturer since 1950. Nice and quiet.. until you start walking.”
